Story Time at Leu

Story Time at Leu Gardens is a fun approach illustrating to young children the benefits of reading through songs, rhymes and books. Story tellers from Orange County Library System share a variety of ways to engage your child into playful reading.

Story Time is for families with infants to 5 years of age. It is held the first Monday of each month, excluding City holidays (no story time in July and September 2018) and is free! Hundreds of families participate each month in this amazing and imaginative story time event. The event runs from 10 a.m.‐11 a.m. with three age appropriate sessions.

Kids Urgent Care sponsors this free event for our community. Story Time at Leu Gardens was started in the summer of 2005 through a partnership with Orange County Library System (OCLS) and Leu Gardens. OCLS’s story time program is designed to inspire children to enjoy books and to help parents/caregivers teach and bond with their young children.

Story time age sessions:

  • 10‐10:15 a.m.: Infants to 18 months
  • 10:20–10:35 a.m.: Toddlers
  • 10:40–11 a.m.:  Preschoolers
