Spa-Tea-Da!

Fatemah wanted to be pampered to pieces for her 7th birthday, so local party planners Lou & Pepper put together a fun Spa Tea Party for her and 10 of her friends.

Young guests were pampered upon arrival by slipping into monogrammed robes and slippers. Then they sipped on sparkling cider as they enjoyed spa services that included manicures, pedicures, make-up and hairstyling by Sparkled Pink. Once their beautification was complete, Fatemah and her friends enjoyed an afternoon tea with light snacks and sweets.

Using white and pastel colored drapes, the neighborhood
clubhouse was transformed into a tranquil retreat.

The cake table backdrop served dual purpose as a photo backdrop, and the girls had a blast using spa-themed props for pictures.

Spa TEA Party Tips:

  1. Keep color scheme muted and soothing. Use pastels or spa-like blues and greens to match theme.
  2. Hire professionals to execute services. Companies like Sparkled Pink come equipped with everything needed to do hair, nails and make-up, including chairs and foot spas.
  3. Pamper party goers. Make even the youngest party goer feel all grown up with special touches like sparkling cider in champagne glasses, warm towels and cucumber slices for their eyes.
  4. Dual function favors. Providing party goers with a robe allows them to dress the part but also keeps the guests from getting their party clothes messy while having services done.
  5. Schedule the party during mid-morning or early afternoon. This particular theme lends itself to light bites, so no need for a heavy meal. Instead, provide healthy snacks like mini sandwiches and fruit to complement the cake or other sweets.
