Independence Day is here, and you’re about to be surrounded by dozens of incredible fireworks displays and parties. Before you drag your family out to the same old show, try something new! Here are the top spots around Orlando:

  1. Fourth of July at SeaWorld
    SeaWorld Orlando
    Fireworks at 10:00 p.m.

    Spend Independence Day romping around SeaWorld with the kids! The park’s end-of-day fireworks spectacle, “Ignite,” will have an incredible patriotic finale.
    You can also buy a special “Independence Day Dinner with Shamu Package,” which gets you a buffet dinner, plus a VIP area to watch the fireworks. Don’t forget to check out the incredible new VR experience on Kraken Unleashed while you’re there!

  1. Fourth of July Science Celebration
    Orlando Science Center
    11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

    Want an indoor adventure this Independence Day? Orlando Science Center is combining history and science in a series of patriotic activities! Experiment with electricity like Benjamin Franklin, make star-spangled slime, and much more. Included with general admission.
  2. Omni Resort Fireworks Spectacular
    Omni Resort, ChampionsGate
    Sneak away for a PLAYcation at the Omni resort! As a guest there, you can enjoy their fireworks spectacular and other awesome nigttime activities. You can also catch the show on July 15 and 22, as well as August 5 and New Year’s Eve!

  1. Fireworks at the Fountain
    Lake Eola, Orlando
    4:00-10:00 p.m.

    Lake Eola will light up this Independence Day for the 40th annual Fireworks at the Fountain! Arrive early for children’s activities, vendors, music, and great food & drinks. Of course, the evening will conclude with a fireworks spectacular! The event is free to enjoy.
  2. Party in the Park, Winter Garden
    Newton Park, Winter Garden
    5:00-10:00 p.m.

    Bring out a chair or blanket and look to the skies for yet another year of great fireworks from the City of Winter Garden! Come out early to enjoy live music, local vendors, activities for all ages, and great food. Everyone is welcome to enjoy this celebration for free!

  1. A Sci-Fi Fourth of July
    Celebration Town Center
    4:00-10:00 p.m.

    Why not combine this patriotic holiday with one of America’s favorite genres, Sci-Fi? This event will feature a costume contest, tons of activities for kids, and a synchronized fireworks spectacular set to a Sci-Fi themed soundtrack! There will also be a DJ and other live entertainment. It’s all free to explore.
  2. Baldwin Park Independence Bash
    4990 New Broad St., Winter Park
    6:00-11:00 p.m.

    It’s a night full of patriotic festivities at Baldwin Park! There will be carnival games, live music, as well as great food and vendors. Stick around for the main event: a huge fireworks display over Lake Baldwin! It’s free and open to the public.


  1. Star Spangled Sanford
    Lake Monroe, Sanford
    4:00-10:00 p.m.

    See a fireworks spectacular over Lake Monroe in Sanford! The lake will be lined with tons of local vendors with all kinds of unique offerings. This City of Sanford event is free for all to enjoy.
  2. Avalon Park 4th of July Celebration
    Downtown Avalon Park
    5:00-9:00 p.m.

    Avalon Park is going all-out for July 4th, with tons of live entertainment, vendors, and ways for your kids to PLAY. There will also be food trucks, and of course– fireworks to top off the night! Enjoy it all for free.
  3. Leesburg 4th of July Celebration at Venetian Gardens
    Venetian Gardens on Lake Harris, Leesburg
    6:00-10:00p.m.

    Bring the family out for an evening of live music, food, and activities for the kids. As per tradition, there will be a big fireworks spectacular along the shores of Venetian Cove. Explore it all for free!
