Mid-Florida Family Medicine in Apopka is adding a new doctor to its growing practice!Lauren Pedersen-Buck, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician. She joins the Apopka practice from Madison, Tennessee, where she was serving as a neighborhood health services physician supervising multiple nurse practitioners and providing outpatient medicine including prenatal care. Her specialties include preventive health screenings; school, sports and employment physicals; immunizations; acute illness diagnosis and treatment; chronic disease management; and minor injury care.
A graduate of the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California, Dr. Pedersen-Buck completed her residency training as part of the Florida Hospital Family Residency Program. She is an active community volunteer who has often donated her medical services to charitable causes such as the Florida Hospital After-Hours Clinic that services the uninsured, Project HOPE (a mentoring program for teen parents) and the Inner-City Youth Program of the Del Rosa Seventh-day Adventist Church in San Bernardino, California. She is conversant in medical Spanish.
