Kiddos too wiggly to sit through a long ballet? Good news! The Orlando Ballet offers a family series with an hour-length performance sure to keep their attention. Join in on family-friendly activities and photo opportunities too. Next weekend, catch the debut of Snow White retold and conceptualized by Orlando Ballet ballerina, Chiaki Yasukawa. A new mother, Chiaki has managed to create a captivating version of this classic tale. She was involved in every detail from script to choreography to casting and executing the movements with the cast. The scene with the seven dwarfs is not to be missed and her interpretation of mirror, mirror takes on a more contemporary approach. My daughter already has her Snow White costume pressed and primped for this magical fantasy performance.
